Location: Cambridge, UK

XJTAG is a world-leading developer of electronics testing products. The company has grown to provide a wide range of products and services for testing complex electronics to customers all over the world. We are looking for an additional member in our administration and finance team on a part time basis (minimum 25 hours per week) assisting the office manager in day-to-day accounts and office duties. As in any small business, you will get involved in a wide range of tasks, often not strictly ‘in the job description’, to help and support the whole business.

A successful candidate will receive on the job training after which they will be able to facilitate jobs outlined in the ‘responsibilities’ section below. In addition, they will be a self-starter, able to identify areas in which they can help our office manager with additional administration tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing orders for shipping and arranging deliveries
  • Processing purchase orders and invoicing customers
  • Updating and maintaining our internal product tracking system
  • Booking travel arrangements, including itineraries for general customer trips as well as for exhibitions
  • Processing of supplier invoices
Requirements
  • Comfortable with calculating percentages
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team and have a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload and handle multiple tasks
  • Very good written and verbal communication
  • Experience of using an accounts system useful but not required as training will be given
  • Permission to work in the UK
