Role Overview
The Office Administrator will provide administrative support to the logistics and operations department, ensuring accurate data entry, invoice preparation, and supply chain coordination. You’ll also assist with customer queries, delivery schedules, and reporting, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to logistics and operations
- Prepare invoices and documentation for materials
- Resolve materials with invoices and supply documents
- Enter delivery data accurately into Sage and 3PL platforms
- Maintain data, create reports, and support the team with insights
- Check goods-in receipts and process through internal stock systems
- Assist with supply chain functions for international and national suppliers
- Monitor delivery schedule adherence and escalate issues where necessary
- Answer and transfer phone messages with accurate summaries
- Support resolution of customer issues relating to material supply
- Provide line manager with accurate and professional information
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (A*–C) including English and Maths OR 12 months’ experience in a similar role
- Desire to learn new skills within logistics and supply chain functions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in database administration
- Proficiency with Sage and logistics platforms (preferred)
- Must have UK work authorisation
