Overview

We are seeking a licensed Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work in Winchester, IN at Pine Knoll.

Requirements for a Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy college
  • Display evidence of interest in continued education within the profession and it is encouraged to be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • Must be licensed in the State of Indiana to practice OT
  • May be responsible for supervising/training personnel such as COTA
  • CPR Certified or willing to obtain certification
  • Previous experience in home health or in a health care setting is recommended but not required
Responsibilities for a Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Following receipt of a doctor's referral, the therapist is responsible for evaluating the patient within 24 hours of written referral
  • Recommend programs that are patient specific to diagnosis according to the type/age of patient under program
  • After evaluating the patient, the therapist is responsible for planning, administering and supervising the COTA in an appropriate treatment plan
  • Will communicate with the referring physician and member of the rehabilitation team regarding the patient's total treatment program
  • Will maintain an accurate daily record of treatments given to patients
  • PRN.

Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a Medical or Religious Exemption to be employed by Indiana Fitness Works. Full-time employees may be eligible for benefits. Waiting period will apply.
