Occupational Health Advisor (Part-Time)

Location: Daventry
Contract: Permanent, 2 days per week
Salary: Up to £48,000 pro rata

We are recruiting for a part-time Occupational Health Advisor to support a manufacturing organisation based in Daventry. This role offers the opportunity to provide practical, high-quality occupational health advice within an on-site manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with managers and employees, delivering occupational health assessments that support attendance, wellbeing, and safe working practices.

The Role
  • Deliver fitness for work and sickness absence assessments
  • Provide clear, evidence-based occupational health advice to managers
  • Deliver and coordinate health surveillance programmes relevant to manufacturing
  • Contribute to the prevention of work‑related ill health
  • Maintain professional standards and ongoing CPD in line with NMC requirements
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor or Occupational Health Nurse
  • Competent in case management and health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry, and skin surveillance
  • Registered General Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
  • Current NMC registration and full UK driving licence
  • Well organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently
