The Borgen Project is an international organisation that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty. The organization believes leaders of the world’s powers should do more to address global poverty. The national campaign aims to make poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further! The Borgen Project has 20 years of experience in advocacy and works to support the advancement of poverty-reduction legislation with the goal of benefitting people in developing countries.
The role provides insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit organisation. This is a part-time 12-hours-per-week, 12-week, unpaid remote programme. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.
Responsibilities
Experience - No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPAs/background.
Details - This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available.
Start Date - New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
