Qualifications

  • Completed Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Prepared to progress towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care.
  • Strong record-keeping, time-management and people-skills.
  • Positive energy, natural ability to get along with people.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver care that provides residents with security, dignity and independence.
  • Maintain accurate care records and manage time effectively.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Assist with medication administration and stimulation activities.
  • Communicate with residents, families and co-workers kindly.
