Night Senior Care Assistant

We are hiring a Night Senior Care Assistant for immediate start at our residential care home in Highams Park, E4.

Rate from £14.00 per hour, with signing‑on bonus £350.00 and retention bonus £250.00.

Responsibilities
  • Run a shift to ensure the care needs of service users are met, organising staff team around medication, personal care, continence, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities and other tasks required.
  • Build strong professional relationships with families, friends and health‑care professionals, keeping them welcomed and well‑informed.
  • Keep managers up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
  • Follow guidelines and policies and use care‑management software, smartphone and tablet hardware to support residents’ care plans and record keeping.
  • Help residents live a full life, be more independent, enjoy daily activities and exercise choice in their living.
  • Make residents feel safe, comfortable and secure, so they feel right at home.
Requirements
  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Willingness to learn, flexibility, patience, caring nature, organisational and enthusiastic attitude, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Completed QCF 1‑ (equivalent NVQ 2 or 3 in Care).
