Salary: Up to £12.90 OTE including Tronc company benefits.

About the Hotel

The hotel is located on the world‑famous docks and waterfront of Liverpool, featuring 130 bedrooms, a 120‑seat bar & grill, six private event spaces and proximity to cultural landmarks such as the Museum of Liverpool and the Royal Liver Building.

About the role

The Night Porter manages the hotel’s operations from sundown to sunrise, overseeing the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring public areas are immaculate and guest expectations are met. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, handling luggage, replying to enquiries, performing nightly health and safety audits, cleaning public areas, preparing meeting and event spaces for the following day and maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Food & Beverage Department during night shift.
  • Welcome guests and ensure a friendly, helpful reception.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas and prepare meeting/event spaces.
  • Assist guests with luggage and handle enquiries.
  • Conduct nightly health and safety audits.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in a similar hospitality role (beneficial).
  • Essential experience of night shift work.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
Working Hours & Flexibility
  • Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • Range of shifts and days; high volume during evenings and weekends.
