Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Housekeeper to work within the Emergency departments at Emergency Department at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking Housekeeper who will work as an integral part of the team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times છીએ.

Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under non-direct supervision, prioritising their own workload. It is necessary to have a flexible approach within this role and to respond appropriately to the demands of an ever-changing workload.

Recent experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment is essential, along with an awareness of health and safety, as you will be working in a demanding environment. You are also required to be IT literate. Previous experience with stock control is desirable.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to take ownership of stock levels within the department, including ordering of stock.

You will also be required to maintain a high level of cleanliness within the department.
