We are looking for volunteers to help clients on a neighbourly walk.
We know how beneficial walking can be for the mind and body, and we want to support as many people in the community as we can to maintain their independence and enjoy some fresh air.

Practical Considerations: Volunteers will need to be DBS checked, and volunteer expenses can be covered.

Full Description: The neighbourly walk service allows volunteers to meet with members of the community who may be elderly, have long-term health conditions, and feel lonely. It provides an opportunity to get outside and reconnect with the community. The walks are usually fortnightly, take place outdoors, and will vary in length and duration depending on the client’s needs.
