# Neighbourhood Services Area Manager## Job InformationROLE OF THE JOBYou will work with local communities and other key stakeholder organisations to maintain and improve local environmental quality in Northumberland.You will be responsible for managing a large team of around 100 staff including Senior Team Leaders, Team Leaders and Technical Officers and through them, the operational front-line staff in a designated area. You will be accountable for the effective performance and delivery of the following functions: Kerbside waste and recycling collections, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, public toilets, cemeteries and Churchyards.**REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB*** You will have significant experience of developing productive relationships with stakeholders, managing resources including depots, vehicle fleet and equipment and effectively managing large numbers of operational staff through others.* You will be focused on creating a safe working environment for all and delivering good quality, value for money services for our residents.* A full UK Driving LicenceNorthumberland County Council’s (NCC) vision is ‘Land of Great Opportunities’, for current and future generations.
