The Leeds Conservatoire Summer Academy offers an immersive educational experience for aspiring musicians, providing a comprehensive introduction to conservatoire-level studies. Through a blend of practical workshops, ensemble sessions, and individual instruction, students refine their musical abilities and gain insights into the demands of higher education in music. The program culminates in a showcase performance, allowing participants to demonstrate their progress and artistry.
The Academy offers a vibrant extracurricular programme with evening social activities such as open mic nights, games, and jam sessions—giving students the chance to relax, connect, and collaborate with fellow young musicians in a fun and supportive environment.
Students have the option to stay at Clarence Dock Village, a modern student accommodation located within walking distance of the conservatoire. This four-night stay, from Monday to Friday, costs an additional £325 and provides a comfortable and convenient living environment for participants.
