Overview

BP Rolls’ Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). We are committed to minimising vehicle off road (VOR) and reducing vehicle downtime. Our Andover Headquarters requires 2 additional Mobile Technicians for the night shift on a 4 on 4 off rotation.

Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician – Commercial Fleet Management (Home Shopping)

Location: Andover, Hampshire – Night shift / 4 on 4 off rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of customer fleets to minimise downtime.
• Work on the night shift as part of a 4 on 4 off rotation.
• Collaborate with our in-house 24-hour operations team at HQ in Andover and with national depots for technical support.
• Operate a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle provided for the role.
• Contribute to reducing vehicle downtime and vehicle off road (VOR).

Requirements

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician certification (body/electrical/mechanical) and demonstrate knowledge and practical capability.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technician experience; some specific training will be provided during induction.
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a can-do attitude are essential.
• Professional and skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently and efficiently.
• Clean driving licence; no driving convictions will be considered.
• Customer-facing role requires good customer service skills and the ability to solve problems to reach resolution.
• Able to work on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern.
• Already located within the Andover territory with legal right to work.

Contract & Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time position. Uniforms/overalls, PPE, and a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle are provided.
