Job summary

A leading UK catering company is seeking a Mobile Cook/Chef to join their team in York & surrounding areas. You'll assist in preparing delicious meals using fresh seasonal ingredients for schools, serving over 200 meals per day. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with shifts from 8 am to 2 pm, 38 weeks a year, empowering young students to enjoy great food. Qualifications

  • Experience in a food preparation role, preferably in a catering or restaurant setting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team.

About the role

Job Title: Mobile Cook/ Chef

School Location: York & surrounding areas

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8am-2pm (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £14 per Hour

What will I be doing?
  • Assisting the onsite Chef Manager with the preparation of the main meals and snacks for the site
  • Working using fresh seasonal ingredients cooking for a volume of (200+)
  • May include some counter service / till work
  • Keeping the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
