Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Mobile Cleaner to join our team. As a Mobile Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards on various sites including schools, offices, and more. Must have your own reliable vehicle. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and take pride in their work.

The successful applicant must be flexible, covering holidays and sickness on various sites around Hull and surrounding areas. Depending on the site, you may need to be available from 5:30 AM–9:00 AM or 3:00 PM–8:00 PM; these times are examples and may vary. The role involves 20 hours per week, with potential overtime. Pay is £13 per hour, plus a £100 monthly car allowance. Fuel and travel allowance is paid for travel outside Hull; we cover sites in Hull, Grimsby, Driffield, Beverley, and various other areas, so you must be willing to travel and own your own car. An Enhanced DBS certificate is required, which we can help obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Empty bin receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces and touch‑point areas
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Previous experience in cleaning preferred; full training will be provided to the successful applicant
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills to interact with managers, cleaning staff, and clients
