Overview

The Willows Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Midday Assistant to join the team as soon as possible. The school is located in Church Road, Basildon and is part of the Berlesduna Academy Trust, which values high aspirations, enjoyment for learning, academic success and lifelong skills for all pupils.

The working hours are from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 5 hours per week, term time only for 38 weeks per year.

Actual salary: £2,884 per annum (includes paid annual leave, which must be taken in school closure periods).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for children during their lunch hour, involving playing games, supervising and providing minor first aid if needed.
• Supervise and ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of children throughout the lunchtime period.
