Winner Recruitment has partnered with an exciting, forward-thinking client in the Barnsley area. We are recruiting for Permanent Metal processing and Metal Sorting operatives.

Metals processor – £27,500 yearly

Metals sorter – £29,000 yearly

Days Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm

Duties Include

• Sort, grade, and process incoming materials
• Prepare materials to the required quality standards
• Use an XRF scanner to identify and verify materials
• Operate processing equipment such as saws, shears, shredders, and blasting machinery
• Keep basic records using IT systems

Qualifications

The candidate must have experience in the recognition, identification and reporting of special metal contamination within the materials that may include foreign attachments/coatings/inserts/tips & repair welds.
