Qualifications

• Experience in fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC controlled equipment.
• Ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
• Proficient in analyzing and resolving Electrical and Mechanical faults.

Responsibilities

• Work at Heights of up to 20m with appropriate training.
• Conduct regular inspections and assist in the review of risk assessments.
• Ensure smooth operation of warehouse machinery and equipment.

Job description

Salary

£20.69 per hour plus 15% nights premium and bonus. Full year OTE between £52,000 - £59,000* plus overtime opportunities

Shift Rotation

42 hour shift rotation (days, nights, weekends)

About the role

Our Maintenance Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring that the huge range of warehouse machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired as required to ensure the operation runs smoothly, implementing management instruction with regard to all aspects of the role and ensure awareness of Health and Safety, working in a specialist field.

Qualifications

• Fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
• Analysis and resolution of Electrical and Mechanical faults and repairs
• Conducting regular inspections whilst assisting in the completion and review of risk assessments for the department
• ASI and Profibus systems

Responsibilities

The role will require the successful candidate to Work at Heights of up to 20m with appropriate training. You'll also have excellent communication skills and be PC literate
