Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter for a key project at the Port of Blyth. This role involves building, assembling, and maintaining a crawler for trenching and utility cable laying. Applicants should have proven experience in mechanical fitting, be certified in MJI / TMJI, and hold an Overhead Crane Ticket. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret engineering drawings and perform fault diagnostics in a safety-critical environment. This position offers a 12 to 18-month contract starting in January 2026.

Qualifications
