Xcelerate Academy is a well established weekend tuition centre based at Landau Forte College in Derby. We specialise in delivering high-quality, structured tuition to KS3 and GCSE students through small group and 1to1 sessions.

Our approach prioritises clarity, consistency, and confidence building. With small class sizes, tutors are able to deliver focused, exam informed teaching in a calm, supportive, and professional learning environment.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and committed Maths Teacher/Tutor to join our team. You will deliver engaging small group Maths sessions, supporting students across KS3 and GCSE level with a strong focus on understanding, confidence, and exam readiness.

You will be expected to plan and prepare your own lessons, aligned with our curriculum approach and student needs.

Consistency and professionalism are essential, as our students benefit most from stable teaching relationships. You will be supported with clear expectations, curriculum alignment, and ongoing communication to ensure consistency across classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach KS3 and GCSE Maths in small group settings
  • Deliver well paced, engaging, and structured lessons
  • Support students in building confidence and mathematical understanding

Schedule & Commitment
  • Sessions take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays

  • Once agreed, your time slot remains consistent each week to ensure continuity for students
