Job summary

Job Purpose

To ensure the station is compliant with internal and external regulatory requirements regarding the receipt, storage and issue of aircraft parts and equipment whilst maintaining cost effective stock management.

Job Accountabilities
  • Ensure all material received is undamaged, the correct quantity and accompanied by correct release documentation. Book into QUANTUM System, place items that fail inspection into quarantine and liaise with airlines to resolve discrepancies. Place acceptable received material into the secure store.
  • Ensure stock levels are correctly maintained.
  • Return unserviceable material to airlines in good time, preventing any potential charges to the business.
  • Ensure shelf life of components, material and tooling are not exceeded.
  • Collect and deliver items from/to suppliers, couriers and security as required.
  • Issue material to engineers whilst maintaining the QUANTUM/AMOS system.
  • Comply with all internal and external audit requirements.
  • Other tasks as required to support an operational requirement.
Operating Environment

The role will operate within a pressurized and fast‑paced environment with reduced lead times and often working outside office hours. Shift work is required.

  • Must be fit and able to deal with heavy or bulky items.
  • Willing to assist at other company locations when requested.
Experience

Previous aviation logistics or store experience is preferred but training can be given to the right candidate.
