Job description
Overview

Manufacturing Production IT MES Engineer role at Vaillant Industrial UK Ltd, located in Belper, GBR and Derby, GBR, United Kingdom. The position focuses on supporting daily production operations and ensuring high system uptime and reliability of assembly management systems.

Responsibilities
  • You will support daily production operations across our Belper and Derby sites, ensuring high system uptime and reliability of assembly management systems.
  • Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues on production lines and ancillary equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • By creating technical concepts and solution designs, you will integrate hardware such as RFID, scanners, and printers into our production systems.
  • Together with an interdisciplinary team, you are involved in new product introductions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • After analysing and evaluating business requirements, you will implement and manage IT change requests and present data to support decision-making.
  • You will foster knowledge sharing and mentor colleagues, helping to build an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
  • You hold a degree in an IT or software-related discipline.
  • You bring experience in assembly manufacturing systems and have worked on digitisation and Industry 4.0 projects in a production environment.
  • You are proficient in troubleshooting IT systems, integrating hardware into production lines, and working with LabView (Level 3 preferred).
  • Experience with AMS+ systems and familiarity with Vaillant Group standards is a plus.
  • You areproactive,communicative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy mentoring others and contributing to team success.
  • You work effectively across departments and with international colleagues, contributing to a strong team spirit and shared success.
