A specialist health and social care provider is seeking a Male Support Worker in Salford to support a gentleman with complex needs, including Organic Personality Disorder. You will provide comprehensive care and support 24/7, working within a dedicated male team. The ideal candidate should possess a UK manual driving license and relevant social care experience. Gray Healthcare are recruiting a Male Support Worker, within the Salford area of Manchester, to support a Gentleman who has a diagnosis of Organic Personality Disorder and an acquired brain injury.
The person we support lives independently in his own home receiving 2:2:1 support 24 hours a day. The person is supported by a male only team on shifts of days and waking nights / sleep ins. The person we support enjoys fitness, gym, going out in the community and enjoys football.
36 hour contract 3 x 12 hour days shifts from 8am to 8pm + 2 sleeps paid @ £100per sleep (Alternative weekends).
We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training. (Company induction, systems, and Medication.) Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, this is a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint dominant approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
