General Support: Carry out essential pre‑use checks on tools and equipment, and support key tasks such as topping up fuel and sand levels.
Safety Critical Work: Adhere to rigorous engineering standards and procedures, ensuring all relevant documentation and asset management systems are accurately completed.
To join the team, you will need to pass a basic DBS check, a Drugs & Alcohol test, and a full rail standard medical.

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a multi‑skilled or electrically biased Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering Team at our Portbury production facility in Bristol. The facility is a dried blending and mixing production facility where we create flavour blends for some of the world's best loved brands, 100's of tonnes of product are precisely measured, mixed and packaged every week.
This is a permanent position, with a 3 or 4 shift pattern – AM/PM/Nights/Days

Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:
Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all site machinery and infrastructure
Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
Support operations by resolving mechanical issues impacting production efficiency
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability and resolve complex faults
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedures
Complete actions from the Corrective Action Report (CAR) system
Communicate maintenance plans and machine handovers with relevant departments
