A care service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Worker to ensure safe and efficient operation in care homes. Your role will involve addressing planned and emergency maintenance tasks, supporting both staff and residents in a compassionate environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in plumbing and electrical systems and a valid UK driving license. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance to all services, grounds and vehicles ensuring that all Health & Safety, regulatory and company standards are met.
At Liaise, you will work with extraordinary people who achieve fantastic successes. Your main responsibilities will be to inspect and evaluate contract services, coordinate with managers, instructors, and others to provide equipment and materials needed within the care home environment, source and purchase good quality supplies and materials whilst being cost effective.
You will be working in an environment, which supports service users with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and associated complex health needs, to live the life they want to within our services. You will support the managers of these services by ensuring a safe environment for the service users, scheduling repairs and maintenance so there is minimal disruption the service users.
You will respond to emergency repair situations immediately considering health and safety requirements and solutions for repairs or replacements. You will need to perform skilled duties in the operations, maintenance, and repair of buildings and grounds areas.
Willing to travel as needed to visit all homes based in London and outer London.
Must hold UK driving License.
The successful applicant will need to pass an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory referencing prior to commencing employment.
