The Opportunity: The Maintenance Leading Hand role at one of our orchards (near Darlington Point/Griffith) supporting the Maintenance Controller and Manager in their overall business objectives. The leading hand will assist to lead the team as well as undertake maintenance and repairs on all types of orchard equipment and machinery as directed by the Maintenance Manager. The salary for this role will be between $80-$85k.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

• Leadership:Assist in leading the team toolbox meetings and coordinating tasks in the workshop.
• Machinery Maintenance:Complete repair and maintenance requirements on orchard machinery and assist the Maintenance Controller and Manager by planning, monitoring and management of key deliverables.
• Machinery Operation:Operate machinery when required to assist with orchard activities and operate machinery for testing purposes.
