We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our in‑house Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) function. This M&A Associate will play a critical role in supporting the company’s inorganic growth strategy, working closely with the M&A Director, senior executives and internal departments to ensure the successful execution of M&A transactions and integration processes. You’ll:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess the financial health of target companies.
  • Build and maintain financial models.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating the due diligence process for potential acquisition targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets and assess industry trends, providing strategic recommendations based on market research.
  • Support the transaction process, from initial target identification through to post‑deal integration.
  • Stakeholder communication, including collaborating with internal teams to provide insights on potential M&A opportunities.
  • Assist with post‑merger integration activities when required, including assessment of performance of the merged entities.
  • Track and monitor integration progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and value creation.

  • Be ACA / ACCA qualified, or almost qualified.
  • Have hands‑on experience with financial modelling, valuation techniques, financial analysis and writing reports. With exposure to due diligence, transaction structuring, and integration processes is advantageous.
  • Be a confident problem solver and have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial and strategic data.
  • Have advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling tools.
  • Be a self‑starter, who loves getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
  • Thriving in a collaborative and progressive environment.
