Join Our Team as a Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner!

Part-Time: 15 hours per week, 5 days Monday-Friday, 11am-2pm (all year round)

Pay: £12.21 - £12.80 per Hour based on experience.
Working Hours: Part-Time: 15 hours per week, 5 days Monday-Friday, 11am-2pm (all year round)

About Our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Mottershead is dedicated to creating a warm and inviting environment where children aged 0-4 start their early years education. Our outdoor learning area consists of three separated spaces that provide a mixture of surfaces, play equipment, resources and activities for all children to explore, including our very own ‘Buggingham Palace’. The Old Station Nursery, located at the end of Mottershead Drive near Innsworth Primary School, with plenty of on-street parking.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
