What you\'ll be doing:

The Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator supports the coordination, preparation, and tracking of all goods dispatched from various UK sites, including spares, service parts, and project-related equipment. This role ensures shipments are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and internal teams are kept informed. Working across multiple teams, you will contribute to reliable customer service and operational continuity.

Logistics Administration

  • Prepare & ensure all dispatch documentation for shipments, including commercial invoices, delivery notes, packing lists, and courier labels.
  • Liaise with couriers and freight providers to book collections and track shipments.
  • Ensure all items leaving site are clearly labelled and packed to the correct specification.
  • Monitor daily dispatch activity and update internal systems to reflect shipment status.
  • Deal with and complete any customs clearance issues.

Data Accuracy & Reporting

  • Input shipment details into the system and maintain visibility of dispatch status.
  • Support logistics reporting by collating freight data and highlighting anomalies or trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of export documentation and assist with compliance requirements.
  • Keep updated with relevant changes to legislation.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Work closely with all departments to coordinate daily dispatch priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues in Procurement, Projects, Stores & Dispatch, Spares, Service.
  • Provide proactive updates on dispatch status to internal stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to queries relating to logistics and spares.

What we’re looking for:

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience in an administration or logistics support role, ideally in a global manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with dispatch processes and shipping documentation.
  • Experience working with systems or logistics platforms (training will be provided).

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach to resolving issues.
  • Good communication skills and confident working with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
