Job summary

A leading children's healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking a Consultant in Paediatric Urology to join their team. This locum position involves managing a busy Urology service, including surgical on-call duties, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be FRCS qualified with a Post CCT Fellowship in Paediatric Urology, and a proven record of supervisory teaching. Competitive salary of £109,725 - £145,478 annually, and flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Must have passed CCT level.
• Completed at least 1 year in a recognised post CCT fellowship in Paediatric Urology.
• Experience of supervising Registrars and ability to teach operative and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a service encompassing all areas of Paediatric Urology practice.
• Carry out both elective and on-call commitments.
• Contribute to teaching and supervising Registrars.

Skills

Ability to manage full range of Paediatric Urological cases

Advanced laparoscopy experience

Evidence of membership of specialist organisations/groups

Education

FRCS(Paed) or equivalent

Recognised Post CCT Fellowship in Paediatric Urology

MD, PhD, MSc or equivalent
