Overview

Local Service Manager position at Brighton and Hove Foyer, Brighton. The Foyer, Pelham Street, Brighton, BN1 4FA. Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting to deliver personalised housing, care, and support services to help people live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall delivery of the service through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
  • Oversee the overall delivery of the service
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
  • Oversee the service’s financial performance and manage the budget
  • Manage recruitment, performance and development of staff
  • Be flexible around working hours to meet the needs of the service
  • Take responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experience
  • Experience in a managerial role within a similar service with strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Compassionate, caring, and hands-on in supporting others
  • Experience supporting service users in a personalised way to maximise opportunities for personal development
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
  • Travel is required; a full valid driving licence is essential
