Job description
Role: Loan Analyst
Location: London

CBRE is seeking a Loan Analyst whose primary responsibility will be supporting the Asset Managers and Loan Administrators in all aspects of the servicing of allocated commercial real estate loans.

What You’ll Do:
  • Service assigned commercial real estate loans in the UK and continental Europe and monitor their performance.
  • Provide customer service to lenders and borrowers and administration departments as per the financing documentation.
  • Manage the set‑up of new loans in loan servicing system and be responsible for maintaining the currency and integrity of loan information.
  • Manage loan document files and document imaging.
  • Manage administration and bookkeeping of the transaction.
  • Set interest periods and reference rates applicable for each period.
  • Calculate amounts to be paid by the borrowers and lenders in accordance with loan documentation i.e. fees, interest, and principal amounts.
  • Execute payment instructions on each payment date according to the waterfall provided.
  • Liaise with the designated Borrower Account Bank to ensure all signing and account access arrangements (via electronic banking) are in place to allow movement of funds on each IPD.
  • Maintain KYC information for all bank account signatories.
  • Provide assistance as required to Asset Managers in responding to borrowers’ audit enquiries.
