Organisation role · 1—2 hrs/Week · Starting from 10 Jan 2026

We are looking for a volunteer to support our Lego Club which will run from 10.30-111.30 on a Saturday morning from January onwards.

Detailed description

The purpose of this role is to offer support in running Lego-themed activities within the library, usually on a weekly basis.

  • Assist children and their parents with taking part in Lego building themed activities
  • As part of a team, help with publicising and organising events and activities
  • To act as a link between staff and the attendees so sessions run smoothly
  • An interest in Lego and how it can be used to facilitate education and social outcomes such as teamwork and problem solving
  • Creative thinking to come up with new ideas for projects
  • Friendly and helpful approach
  • Willing to help others grow their skills
