Legionella Remedial Plumber – Computer, Consultants & Merchants, Inc.

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Salary & Benefits: £25,000 – £37,000 per annum, plus training, overtime, company vehicle and pension scheme.

We are a national contractor who has recently been awarded new contracts in the Midlands region and we seek an experienced Legionella Remedial Plumber who can hit the ground running. Applicants must have plumbing experience within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry and proven knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines. You will be expected to work to agreed deadlines and travel as required.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as a Remedial Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company
• NVQ Plumbing qualifications
• Ideally qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
• Working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Flexible to travel as required
• Good literacy and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to complete PPM and reactive remedial plumbing duties
• Install or replace TMV systems
• Remove deadlegs
• Install, replace or refurbish cold water storage tanks
• Replace valves
• Service or install unvented cylinders
• Fit and modify pipework
• Conduct ad‑hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Compile regular service reports
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients
