Our University offers excellent staff development opportunities including a Post‑Graduate Certificate in Education and potentially PhD/research options, with alignment to our Research Centres.

About You

We welcome applicants interested in combining an academic role with practice and can consider fractional posts alongside your current employer.

A key attribute will be your ability to work flexibly across our undergraduate and postgraduate Social Work programmes (pre‑registration and CPD), where your insight into contemporary practice (clinical and educational) will enhance student experience and learning. You will be a highly motivated individual who brings strength in education, research and practice. Above all, we are looking for people who share our passion for high‑quality student‑centred social work education and have a strong vision for how the integration of education, practice and research can transform health care.

If this is you, we would be pleased to hear from you. For an informal discussion please contact: Dr. Stefan Kleipoedszus, Associate Head of School (skleipoedszus@bournemouth.ac.uk).
