Role Maths GCSE & Vocational Lecturer ( Fixed Term Contract)

Hours - 35 Hrs Per Week

Salary: £35,019.00 - £49,767.00 (FTE)

Contract End Date: 31st July 2025

Employer Pension Contribution: 28.68% (£10,043.44 - £14,273.17 FTE)

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Maths GCSE & Vocational Lecturer to join the Academic team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

About You

You are a confident and enthusiastic educator with a strong grasp of mathematical concepts and the ability to make them accessible and engaging for all learners. You excel at breaking down complex ideas into practical, real-world applications, helping students build problem‑solving skills and resilience. Your approach is inclusive and adaptable, ensuring every learner feels supported and challenged to reach their potential. Ideally, you hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience delivering GCSE Maths and vocational programmes, but most importantly, you bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to student success.

About the Role

As a Maths GCSE & Vocational Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching that equips learners with essential mathematical skills for both academic achievement and practical application. You will design and deliver lessons that are engaging, relevant, and tailored to diverse learning needs, ensuring students gain confidence and progress towards their goals. Beyond classroom teaching, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement, working collaboratively to maintain outstanding standards of education and learner experience.
