A UK-based university is seeking a Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The newly established School of Law and Society is looking to add a Lecturer (Academic) in Criminology and Criminal Justice to its teaching team to strengthen its teaching of criminology at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Successful applicants will play a large role in delivering and further developing our suite of criminology degrees.
We particularly invite applicants who would be able to contribute to the leadership and teaching of at least one of the following subject areas:
The successful applicant will also be expected to contribute to the teaching of core research method units across our social science degree programmes. We have a particular interest in applicants who can assist with the delivering of quantitative research methods.
Additionally, we anticipate that any successful candidate will be able to contribute to the scoping and development of future applied criminology provision.

Our sociology and criminology courses examine the social, political, economic, cultural and psychological dynamics of local and global communities, as well as how crime and criminal justice shape the societies we live in. Over 90% of sociology and criminology graduates are employed or doing PG study within 15 months of graduating.
