The Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role as we launch our new Preston community in Melbourne’s North. As our Leasing Agent, you will be the welcoming face of WeAreLiving—supporting leasing activities, guiding prospective residents through their rental journey, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to warmth, professionalism, and ease.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment, enjoys building rapport, and takes pride in delivering a seamless, joyful leasing experience. You’ll play an essential part in driving occupancy and creating a thriving community.

Your Impact

• Create a welcoming, supportive, and memorable experience for all prospective residents.
• Conduct property tours, respond to enquiries, and guide applicants through the full leasing journey while communicating the benefits of Build to Rent.
• Efficiently manage CRM activity—responding within KPIs and ensuring accurate, brand-aligned lead management.
• Prepare and manage lease documents, ensuring full compliance with Victorian legislation.
• Support move‑ins, renewals, and the seamless integration of new residents into the community.
• Ensure the property—including apartments and amenities—is consistently presented to support leasing success.
• Minimise vacancy by proactively managing leads, follow‑ups, and move‑in timelines.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act, Privacy Act, Anti‑Discrimination laws, and other relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with your team to deliver a joyful work environment where empathy and connection shape every resident interaction.

About the Property: WeAreLiving – Preston

Located just 10km from the Melbourne CBD and positioned on Time Out’s Best High Street in the World, WeAreLiving Preston is a design‑led, amenity‑rich BTR community. This 16‑storey mixed‑use development includes 292 residences, three retail spaces, and seven office suites, supported by:

About You

• Leasing experience within residential, commercial, or retail property (or strong transferable experience)
• Excellent customer service skills and a warm, people‑first approach
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Attention to detail and comfort working toward KPIs
• Familiarity with rental processes and legislation (or willingness to learn)
• Class 1 or Class 2 Licence to conduct Real Estate business in VIC preferred, Assistant Agent Certificate at a minimum.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Current National Police Check
• A positive mindset that brings joy to your team and residents
