Job description
The Role

As a Learner Engagement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enrolling learners, establishing relationships, and ensuring their active participation in our training provision. Join us in our mission to match the right learner with the right program and make a positive impact together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take accountability for enrolling local learners onto the adult skills training provision, mainly in Greater Manchester but also across the North West during busy periods.
  • Liaise with our learner recruitment teams to ensure that referrals are dealt with in a timely manner, undertaking pre‑course eligibility checks and processing information prior to courses starting.
  • Attend in‑person enrolment events at a range of venues including our Skills Hub, Jobcentre Plus sites, and community outreach venues.
  • Determine eligibility and suitability of learners for our provision, including ensuring that they possess the correct ID, and accessing Prior Learning Records.
  • Provide robust Information, Advice & Guidance, clearly communicating information on our courses, including dates, times, aims & objectives and required commitment.
  • Build and nurture trusting relationships with learners, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure their maximum participation and engagement in our training programmes.
  • Enrol learners onto the Realise platform and assume responsibility for accurately entering learner information onto the Individualised Learner Record (ILR).
  • Ensure funding & compliance rules are followed at all times.
  • Take responsibility for processing and monitoring DBS checks on behalf of learners, undertaking other duties such as exam invigilators as required.

About You
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain trusting relationships with learners, motivating and supporting them throughout their training journey.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work alongside sales, Tutors and other stakeholders in ensuring the success of training provisions.
  • Attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage learner information and ensure compliance with ILR requirements.
  • Familiarity with the adult skills training landscape, funding regulations, and quality assurance frameworks is advantageous.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and data management for accurate learner information entry.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own car to travel as part of the role.
