Based in the heart of London (Holborn), we're a dynamic, fast-growing startup reshaping the online beauty experience.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Director of Product, as Lead Product Designer at Noli, you’ll play the key role in shaping user experiences across our digital product.

• You’ll have end to end product design ownership, from blue sky strategy to execution. You’ll be expected to originate bold new strategies, ideas and concepts for the Noli product and experience and make them happen.
• You’ll define the future as much as optimising for the present, helping to shape and drive the product vision and roadmap as well as future opportunity spaces – in particular in the context of designing AI-enabled experience.
• You’re as comfortable concepting new features from scratch as you are refining them into elegant, buildable experiences. You’ll be a hands on leader who will enable us to execute and move towards the vision at pace, by working fast, iteratively and collaboratively in a hypothesis-led way across disciplines (user research and insights, research & innovation (R&I), brand, marketing, and product), creating world class design systems and execution and by creating deep working relationships with your agile engineering partners.
• As the most senior designer in the Noli product team, you'll have the unique opportunity to be the catalyst for our budding design team, shaping its evolution, culture, and team from the ground up.
• You’ll be an inspiring and supportive lead, manager and mentor to the product design team, as well as being the go to partner for Noli brand and creative leads to ensure consistency, excitement, engagement and clarity of proposition for Noli consumers end to end.
• In particular, you'll be the driving force behind the Personalisation pod within product, where you'll push the boundaries of design and experience to create groundbreaking, memorable and differentiating experiences that are at the heart of Noli’s innovation and performance.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to get involved early throughout the product lifecycle, defining highly creative design solutions and seeing them through to delivery and impact with users.

Your Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Building:

• Build the Design Function: As the most senior designer, you will architect the design team, recruiting and nurturing talent to establish a dynamic and collaborative design culture at Noli. You’ll inspire, coach and lead the team, developing individuals to their maximum potential.
• Set the Design Vision: Imagine, define and implement highly creative and effective design strategies that makes sure our users feel seen and heard, that meet our user pain points and inspire and elevate the team's work.
• Elevate Personalisation Design: As the most senior designer, you lead end-to-end design for the personalisation Pod, collaborating with the PMs to create cutting-edge, trustworthy AI advisor experiences that revolutionise beauty recommendations.
• Innovate with Science: Work alongside advanced R&I scientists and clinicians to integrate the most relevant beauty scientific insights into the experience, ensuring our solutions are both exciting and credible for our users.

End-to-End Design Experience:

• Craft Beautiful, Ownable and Effective Experiences: Ensure an exciting, seamless and compelling design experience unique to the Noli brand across all touchpoints that makes our users feel seen and heard, influencing teams and stakeholders across the business to make sure the user experience is joined up.
• Drive Strategic Impact: Use user and research-led design thinking and brave creativity to develop new and powerful product strategies that holistically advance the end to end user experience.
• Foster Deep Partnerships: Proactively and deeply collaborate with your engineering partners, and with cross-functional teams including user research and insights, R&I, marketing and brand to amplify the creative mindset and ensure a consistent and vibrant design language across all touchpoints and channels.

What we’re looking for:

• 6-8+ years of experience in product/UX/UI design, ideally within a B2C or consumer tech business.
• Experience in designing for AI-first experiences, and a passion for beauty are a plus.
