Role Purpose

To identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities. The role focuses on proactive outreach, market research, and relationship building to generate high-quality leads and secure meetings for the Business Development Manager (BDM) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with new customers through core telesales activities, cold calling and gaining follow up meetings for the BDM team
  • Research potential customers, companies and industries to target high potential customers, self-generating target Customer list
  • Achieve activity KPIs (outbound calls made/digital communication)
  • Achieve outcome KPIs (validated leads/organised meetings/quotes)
  • Work with purchased databases, carrying out additional research, to target customers and drive activity
  • Engage with potential customers through social media and digital channels to gain follow up meetings for the BDM team
  • Provide initial quote to customers, if required through sales process
  • Support the BDM team as required including supporting at events
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with new customers and businesses

The qualifications, skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Previous experience in a telesales/lead generation/ business development role (desirable)
  • An experienced and successful sales person (desirable)
  • KnowledgeofDoAproducts,healthcareandonsite testing (desirable)
