We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Consultant, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) to join our HTA Consulting team within Clarivate’s Life Sciences and Healthcare segment. This senior position is part of the Evidence, Value and Access (EVA) practice, a global team of 100+ specialists in HTA, HEOR, systematic reviews, and health economics.
As a Lead Consultant, you will manage complex HTA consulting engagements, guide clients through reimbursement and market access challenges, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver strategic insights that influence healthcare decision-making across major global markets.
10+ years in healthcare or life sciences consulting
Strong background in HTA, HEOR, or market access
Prior experience leading complex HTA projects and serving as a senior client-facing consultant
Lead multiple HTA consulting projects ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality outputs.
Oversee large-scale and complex engagements, providing strategic direction to multi-functional teams.
Act as a senior advisor to clients, supporting strategies for reimbursement, pricing, and market access.
Drive business development activities including proposal development, client presentations, and industry networking.
Mentor and develop junior consultants, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
Collaborate with leadership to strengthen the HTA consulting practice through strategic planning and resource management.
Monitor policy updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies that impact HTA decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, or related field
Strong expertise in European HTA frameworks, payer evidence needs, and market access environments
Ability to interpret complex cost-effectiveness models and communicate strategic implications
Proven business development experience including proposal writing and client engagement
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Master’s degree or higher in Health Economics, Public Health, or Life Sciences
Experience managing multi-market HTA submissions and global value dossiers
Familiarity with Clarivate’s broader capabilities including systematic reviews, health economic modelling, and HTA medical writing
Experience contributing to organization-wide capability development or strategic initiatives
