Job description

We are looking for a Labourer/Driver to join the Workshop team, based in Aberdeen on a temporary basis.

The Labourer/Driver will undertake deliveries and collections as and when required, as well as assist in workshop and warehouse activities including loading/unloading of equipment/deliveries with use of a forklift. In addition, provide assistance to personnel within the workshop and warehouse to complete assignments and participate in general labouring duties.

This role will report to the Warehouse Lead.

The main tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Driving of company vans when required for deliveries and collections
  • General labouring duties, including but not limited to loading and offloading equipment and deliveries
  • Assisting technicians as and when required
  • Manual handling tasks
  • Forklift driving
  • Vehicle checks and cleanliness
  • Assisting in workshop/warehouse as and when required
  • Assisting with ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy
  • Undertake safety roles if required
