This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, being part of a team, and taking pride in doing things properly.

No previous kitchen or chef experience is required, as full training and ongoing support are provided from day one.

The role

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will support the preparation, cooking, and service of meals for Premier Inn guests, helping ensure every stay starts and ends with a good food experience.

You will work with clear systems, modern equipment, and well-established processes designed to make the job straightforward and well supported.

You will be part of a close knit kitchen team, following food safety and hygiene standards, keeping work areas clean and organised, and supporting colleagues during busy service periods.

Shifts are planned in advance and include evenings and weekends as part of a 30 hour working week.

What we are looking for

Premier Inn is looking for dependable, positive people who enjoy working as part of a team and are willing to learn.

You do not need previous kitchen experience, but you do need a good attitude, reliability, and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.

This role suits people looking for secure employment, consistent hours, and the chance to build skills that can lead to progression within hospitality.

Pay is up to £12.56 per hour, with a permanent contract and no zero hours.

Team members receive a Whitbread Benefits Card, giving up to 60 percent off Premier Inn rooms and 25 percent off meals across Whitbread restaurants.

Additional benefits include pension and share saving schemes, discounts on travel, fitness, technology, supermarkets, and holidays, plus generous discounts on Whitbread beds and bedding for home use.

Premier Inn also offers clear development pathways and internal progression across its hotels and brands.
