Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
• Help the Chefs with some food prep.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.

Job description

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 12.00ph
Hours: 30 per week

A fantastic new B&I location for a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. We are catering for their offices in Crawley. Catering for about 350-400 people daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch, Grab & Go and Hospitality. This is a Monday to Thursday operation. Additional benefit of this location is free parking on site.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Crawley.

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation Skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
