About the job

The starting rate for this role is £16.91 per hour (£14.64 per hour plus £2.27 holiday entitlement). We offer flexible bank contracts and are particularly interested in people who can work evening shifts. These typically run between 1pm and 8pm.

Locations of our centres are:

  • High Ashurst - Mickleham, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6DQ
  • Henley Fort and Angel Blue - Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4RH

High Ashurst and Henley Fort are in remote locations with limited public transport. You will need to be able to travel to the centres independently.

About the role

The kitchen lead/cook needs strong organisational skills and solid catering experience in a busy kitchen.

You will lead each shift and prepare, cook, and serve meals for a wide range of guests, from school groups to adults. Your focus will be on meeting their needs and providing good-quality, tasty food.

No two days are the same, so you will need to adapt to the different requirements of each group.

At times, we run themed events where you can use your creativity. These may include outdoor cooking and serving, adding variety and interest to the role.
