A leading media organization is seeking a Junior Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations for BBC Sport. LOCATION: Salford – Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £35,800 - £45,800 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

This role is currently advertised as internal only. Freelancers are eligible to apply if they have been on a Worker Contract (more info here) continuously for 6 months. The Junior Production Manager works with BBC Sport production and editorial teams to manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring accurate budgets, schedules, and planning. The role enables delivery of high-quality, multi-platform content within financial and operational constraints. It requires strong project management, organisational and interpersonal skills, and experience in end-to-end production processes to maintain efficiency and uphold BBC’s reputation for world-class sports coverage.
