What does a Financial Operations Assistant at Radius do?

You will help ensure financial accuracy and efficiency through timely invoicing and process improvements, supporting the wider Finance function and enhancing customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing accurate, on-time invoicing across our fuel business.
  • Converting sales orders into invoices and capturing all revenue.
  • Managing Direct Debit collections and daily bank reconciliations.
  • Supporting monthly and annual subscription billing cycles.
  • Collaborating with Credit and Finance teams to resolve queries.
  • Generating insightful billing reports.
  • Contributing to process improvements and cross-functional projects.
  • Assisting the Financial Operations Manager with ad hoc tasks.

Required skills and qualities:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
  • Effective communication skills to liaise across departments.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
  • Previous experience with accounting systems like Sage 200, Sage X3, or NetSuite is desirable.
