Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role or administrative environment.
  • Able to work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Methodical and organized approach to work with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact for internal and external inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account records.
  • Verify and reconcile data against depot reports.
  • Process manual invoices and credit notes as per procedures.
  • Produce and distribute reports for depots and sales teams.
  • Support the team with general administrative duties.

Reporting into the Invoicing Team Leader you will play a key role in supporting the department’s objectives by generating approximately 19,500 invoices each month and helping to deliver a consistent, accurate, and professional service to internal and external customers.

What will you do
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries, responding to emails, post, and documentation requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account records, including updating customer details on Enwis and ensuring all account activity is correctly recorded.
  • Verify and reconcile data against depot reports, working collaboratively with depots to resolve discrepancies and account for missing information.
  • Process manual invoices and credit notes in line with company procedures, departmental KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Produce and distribute reports for depots and sales teams as requested, while monitoring and managing the invoicing inbox
  • Support the team through general administrative duties, active participation in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and teamwork.

About You
  • GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Strong knowledge within Microsoft Office packages.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role or within an administrative environment.
