# Interventional Radiologist(UK Visa Sponsorship)### Job Description## About the RoleSomerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic and expanding Radiology Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, high-volume service equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Siemens Artis-Q, Dyna CT, Cydar AI, IVUS, lithotripsy, and a newly refurbished radiology day unit.You will contribute to both vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology, including emergency procedures, elective vascular cases, image-guided biopsies, and regional vascular imaging. Over 70% of vascular interventions are now day-case procedures, reflecting our efficiency and commitment to patient-centered care.In 2026, our service will expand further with a 79m hybrid IR theatre as part of a new surgical and critical care wing.
